Step by Step Guide!

1. Grind Your Coffee Beans

Grind your coffee beans to a coarse grind so you don't have trouble pressing down the coffee. Remember, if you don't grind your coffee, it can cause issues and a lack of flavor.

2. Boil Your water!

Boil your water in your kettle for about 205 F degrees so you avoid burning yourself and have a smoother taste in your coffee

3. Add your Coffee Grounds

For this step it is important to consider how much coffee you are brewing, it's important to use double the amount of water for each spoon of coffee. For example, if you start with 20 grams of coffee, which is 4 tablespoons, you'll want to use 40 grams of water. Stir the coffee and water with a spoon and let the coffee bloom for about 5 minutes.

4. Press the filter down!

The moment that you've been waiting for is here, press down the filter, this should take no more than 30 seconds. If you feel too much pressure then your grind is too fine and if it goes too quickly then you coffee grounds might be too coarse. After you have finished serve your coffee immediately. Don’t let it sit in the French press, this can cause over extraction. ENJOY!
